U pevných povrchů je snadné vypočítat množství pryskyřice, které budete potřebovat k pokrytí dané plochy. Pro nerovné povrchy nebo povrchy včetně zapuštěných povrchů, jako jsou haléře, drcené sklo nebo uzávěry lahví; bude vyžadována určitá kompenzace.

Budete potřebovat 1 kg pryskyřice na milimetr tloušťky požadované na plochu 1 m2.
