Per le superfici solide, è facile calcolare la quantità di resina necessaria per coprire una determinata area. Per superfici irregolari o che includono incastri come penny, vetro frantumato o tappi di bottiglia; sarà richiesto un certo compenso.
1kg = 1mm su 1mq
Avrai bisogno di 1 kg di resina per millimetro di spessore richiesto su un'area di 1 mq. Pertanto, per calcolare la quantità di resina da miscelare, è sufficiente moltiplicare lo spessore desiderato (in millimetri) per l'area della superficie (in metri quadrati). Non dimenticare che i materiali porosi (assorbenti) come il legno devono essere sigillati prima del getto principale. In genere per un pavimento in centesimi con malta si consiglia uno spessore di 2 mm sopra i centesimi, che equivale a 2 kg per metro quadrato. Altri progetti la profondità può variare.
