Pour les surfaces solides, il est facile de calculer la quantité de résine dont vous aurez besoin pour couvrir une surface donnée. Pour les surfaces inégales ou celles comportant des encastrements comme des pièces de monnaie, du verre écrasé ou des bouchons de bouteilles ; une certaine compensation sera exigée.
1kg = 1mm sur 1m²
Il vous faudra 1 kg de résine par millimètre d'épaisseur nécessaire sur une surface de 1 m². Ainsi, pour calculer la quantité de résine à mélanger, multipliez simplement l'épaisseur souhaitée (en millimètres) par la superficie de votre surface (en mètres carrés). N'oubliez pas que les matériaux poreux (absorbants) comme le bois doivent être scellés avant la coulée principale. Généralement, pour un sol en centimes jointoyé, nous recommandons une épaisseur de 2 mm sur les centimes, ce qui équivaut à 2 kg par mètre carré. Pour d'autres projets, la profondeur peut varier.
